How is my payment handled?
Payments are taken through Square in Canadian Dollars. We will send you an invoice through Square. We do not store any of your credit card details.
Purchasing with a deposit
Some original paintings are available for you to purchase in stages. As the value of my work grows I understand this can be a helpful option. You can purchase with a 50% deposit payable today. The balance can be paid in full, or payable in 2 monthly payments of 25% each. Details will be emailed to you. By purchasing using this option you understand that this is a deposit to secure your artwork and you will be required to pay the remaining balance.
This is not a credit scheme, but an arrangement on trust, at no extra cost to you. Usual shipping costs and return policy will apply.
Paying by e-transfer
I offer the option to pay by e-transfer within Canada. This saves on credit card fees. If you select this option you will be emailed details of how to pay. Please pay immediately as the artwork is marked as sold immediately and unavailable to others.
I have placed my order, how soon will I receive my artwork?
Most orders will be packed and shipped within 7 working days. Within the Canada pieces are sent by Canada Post, UPS or FedX depending on size and weight. All shipments are tracked and require a signature on delivery. Delivery times vary depending on which option the buyer selects. If you need a piece by a specific date, please contact me first to make sure it can reach you in time. There may be an extra charge for rush deliveries according to your requirements.
Can I collect my artwork from your studio?
Yes, if you are in the Okanagan this is a viable option. If you are further afield but would like to collect in person you can let me know and we can arrange. Once you have placed your order I will email you and we can work out a time to meet. My studio is 10 minutes from Penticton, Okanagan BC, Canada.
What about large or high value artworks?
I appreciate this is a high value purchase – and a piece of work I have spent much time on! It’s important for both of us to make sure it is transported safely. Some couriers have limits on dimensions or what they will carry so certain pieces have individual requirements. You will be notified with shipping details with each product you are interested in. I will provide you with an estimated shipping charge. I will then contact you via email to discuss specialist shipping options before the artwork is dispatched. According to the delivery service chosen, actual costs may be higher than the estimated cost shown.
Can you ship internationally?
Yes, I can ship to most countries, although it will take longer to arrive depending on your location. If your location is restricted once you get to the checkout, message me with your details and the piece you would like and I can give you shipping options.
Overseas and border-crossing shipments (outside the Canada) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense. We have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for additional charges.
Shipping costs contribute towards packing supplies, labour and transit fees.
What if it arrives and I don’t like it?
I want you to be fully happy with your new artwork so I offer a Buy-Back agreement.
If a piece is not as you expect, you have 7 days to contact me by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service it was sent to you. Once the piece has been safely returned we will refund your payment within 14 days. Payment is refunded minus the cost of shipping and Square fees.
What if my piece arrives damaged?
All work is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days and if possible keep a photograph.
What about Overseas Returns?
At this time we are unable to offer a refund or return on any product(s) sent outside of Canada.
