Intuitive Composition - SPRING!
Intuitive Composition is an 8 week course designed to assist artists in using their intuition to hone their art-making practice to create authentic art while developing their design skills. I share my processes with you in Intuitive Composition, along with my approaches, discoveries and best practices.
There are effective ways to deal with composition. I share mine with you. Ultimately we are all after the same thing, creative expression and to make our strongest and most authentic work yet. We go deep into both!
My approach is freeing, fun, illuminating and embraces the uniqueness of being an artist. The content is very generous with ample videos, demonstrations and support with demos, downloadables, creative assignments and way more than I can mention. The course is structured in a way that each module builds upon the previous. Each weekly Module is followed with a recorded Q&A session.

Intuitive Composition
The Intuitive Composition Course is about mentoring you to follow your intuition while teaching you how to allow your intuition and design sense to dance together. It's about getting a grasp of what you need to learn to understand composition alongside paying attention to and developing what you want to express from within.

Intuitive Composition is an 8 week course that's chockablock full of rich content (I couldn’t help myself!) You can definitely do it at your own pace or connect with a group of artists as we go along. There is a weekly Q&A session and plenty of videos to feast on. The Intuitive Composition Course ran twice in 2021 and both received rave reviews. It's first run was such a success that artists wanted to continue working the course with me, and from there the exclusive ICMe Mentorship for ICC graduates was born. I’ve taken a fair amount of workshops. This is by far the best one. I felt I learned so much & in 8 weeks my work improved considerably. The content & organization of the course is excellent & really allows to build one concept over another. Pauline’s support through the course was always spot on, her feedback very thoughtful and respectful. Absolutely loved this course! Pauline is a born teacher and a master at video and it is like she is speaking to you personally. She is so generous in the knowledge she imparts and makes you feel like you can be vulnerable by showing her own and talking about her own experiences. The way the course is structured gave time to work on each module. The participants were all at different stages of their art practice and Pauline made sure all felt included and adapted to everyone’s needs.

It’s so clear how much thought and time Pauline put into this class and so glad to be part of the first round. This was by far the best online course I've taken. Pauline’s course was amazing and a unique approach to composition, intuitive or traditional. Each module was deep and informative. I found her techniques, suggestions and roll out of the elements of the course really helpful. She helped me reach inside myself for inspiration and courage to take risks and play. I would take this course again; not because I didn’t learn what I needed to learn, but because the depth of her instruction, her support both with the video, the weekly calls, and written information were things that I would greatly appreciate hearing again. I’ve been learning how to paint for 4 years, taken many classes and workshops. In this course, I never once thought, “done this before.” I highly recommend it!

This course is loaded with content. Pauline is the most supportive teacher of any course I've taken. Pauline gave a huge amount of her time to each of us in this course. Pauline genuinely cares about the participants of her course and ensured that each of us got the most we possibly could from every aspect of the course. Be that feedback on our paintings, answering our questions, checking in frequently via live video on facebook, and sharing her vast knowledge. All of that and Pauline's concise, easy and relaxed way of teaching has made this course a really valuable gift for me. This was my second time in ICC and I still fell behind. I made it thru module 6 and then I just listened to 7 and part of 8. I will complete the modules after a little rest. The info provided is so pertinent that I don’t want to miss any of it but life intrudes. I’m just now seeing some of the effects from the first time around in my artwork. It really takes time to filter from the brain to the hands! It’s wonderful to get so much info for the price.

Of all the art courses I have taken, and there have been many over the last 30 years, Pauline’s Intuitive Composition has surpassed them all. I wasn’t sure how an on line art course could work, as all my others had been in person. She has managed to fill each module with well thought out, easy to understand lessons complemented by sooo many video tutorials! Sharing and seeing work by others in the group is helpful and critiques are a bonus! I’m not quite there figuring out what my intuitive painting looks like, but this course and Pauline’s inspiration has sparked me to continue playing, experimenting and reaching within!!!

I gifted myself Intuitive Composition as a means to round out the instruction in my Fine Arts painting class. It is the best thing I could have done. As a new 'artist' dare I call myself that, I found I was not just fulfilling required course assignments but giving myself permission to be free to explore and learn in a very well instructed, inspiring and supported environment. ICC was the perfect blend of high standards/technique and intuition just as I had hoped. I'm about to launch a new art company, I finished a series of 30+ explorations that I turned into a book, and made huge strides forward in my actual art practice ALL DURING YOUR PROGRAM.
